DAI Inside Scoop: Gran Bahia Principe Akumal is located less than one hour from Cancún airport and less than 30 minutes from Playa del Carmen, and 20 minutes from Tulum.

The lagoon shaped main pool is great for relaxating. There is another pool for games and activities. Both pools have a great kids section and Jacuzzi’s. One pool is reserved for Club Royal Golden guests. There is a huge Jacuzzi and plenty of beach chairs and sun shades. They also offer a private beach & towel services at the pool and beach. Additionally, there are five tennis courts, a full service water sports center, gym and meeting rooms.
