We Love this resort. Time after time when given a chance this is THE spot Discount-all-inclusive's agents prefer to spend their own vacation time. We have personally had our weddings, honeymoons and relaxing getaways at Swept Away.
The latest expansion opened in April of 2006. A new beach side swim up pool bar, resturants and rooms have been added. Check out our photos display to see all the new improvements.
This resort really has something for everyone.
Mind and body are soothed by the warm waters and even warmer welcome you will find here. From scuba-diving and sailing to spa treatments and yoga, this is an environment that will restore, refresh and invigorate. This all-inclusive experience includes unlimited meals, unlimited premium brand drinks, a wonderful fruit and veggie bar and an endless array of land-sports, water sports and off-site excursions. There are ten lighted tennis courts, a 10-acre sports and fitness complex, and 7 miles of a soft white sand beach awaiting.
Swept Away Room Categories:
Original Garden View, Atrium, Beachfront Suites
These have larger balconies than the newer Verandah Section. Another important thing to know before you go is that these rooms do not have TV's. We particularly like the open feel that the wooden slat windows with screens give these rooms.
Verandah Section, Garden Verandah, Ocean Verandah and Beachfront Verandah
These rooms are a bit more updated than the original ones. They have more modern bathrooms, stocked mini fridge and TV's. The Wood slats are still used for window treatments, but the screens have been replaced by glass.
